Summer Flavor Meets Experiential Activation: Blank Street Coffee x Sweeter
Sweeter designed and executed a full-scale, invite-only activation at Pier 45.
At Sweeter, we turn creative concepts into high-energy, unforgettable experiences that connect brands directly with the people who love them. This August, we partnered with Blank Street Coffee to celebrate their ice cream-themed matcha offerings with a two-day activation at Pier 45 in Hudson River Park.
We designed and fabricated a custom Affogato Stand supported by a production food truck, serving more than 2,000 Salted Pistachio Matcha Affogatos to guests over the course of the event. Each element was carefully crafted to create a seamless and engaging consumer experience, from battery-powered on-site operations that supported sustainability, to branded signage and eco-friendly beverage containers.
Sweeter managed every aspect of the activation, including permitting, staffing with trained brand ambassadors, coordinating security, and running the back-of-house production. Guests were able to engage directly with the Blank Street Coffee brand while sampling the new affogato flavors, creating meaningful, memorable interactions in a high-traffic public space.
The activation reinforced Blank Street Coffee’s commitment to creativity, quality, and sustainability. From the custom stand and mobile advertising vehicle to the carefully managed service flow, every detail was designed to leave a lasting impression.
