Bringing BIGTIME Flavor: AllRecipes.com Hits NYC with Sweeter
The two-day culinary event took place across two of the most active neighborhoods in the city, Midtown Manhattan and the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn.
Recently, we worked with AllRecipes.com, bringing their top-tier digital content to the streets of New York City for a high-energy culinary engagement.
While other agencies might stop at a simple tasting table inside your local grocery store, Sweeter created a full-scale mobile food sampling experience that spanned two days in Midtown Manhattan and Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
The Menu: Prepared in the Sweeter Kitchen
Our culinary team took recipes directly from two of AllRecipes’ advertisers, Kikkoman and Torani, and executed them deliciously in our prep kitchen. For Kikkoman, we served up Tokyo Turkey Breakfast Biscuits with their signature Teriyaki Sauce and Spicy Korean BBQ Chicken Sliders highlighting their Korean BBQ Teriyaki Sauce. To wash it down, we featured Torani’s versatile syrups in a Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew and a Raspberry Mango Arnold Palmer, incorporating their Pumpkin Spice, Raspberry and Mango flavors. Taste buds were jumpin’!
Logistics Meets Creativity
Executing a multi-location food sampling campaign like this requires more than just a food truck. It requires handling the complex so it looks simple. We managed everything from:
Location Scouting & Permitting: Identifying and securing the best, high footfall spots in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
Expert Teamwork: From our culinary team to our own curated team of brand ambassadors, we made sure not only the flavors were on point, but also the brands’ messaging.
Our Creativity: Branded attire, custom signage, and fun custom Kikkoman deli wraps folded into branded origami sandwich containers for a premium, tactile experience.
The Results: Real-World Momentum
The impact was immediate. We served 2,000 guests per day, totaling 4,000 satisfied New Yorkers. While the activation focused on the physical experience, it drove real business results. The brand reported a significant spike in AllRecipes.com subscriptions and a major rekindling of brand awareness for Kikkoman and Torani.
This activation proved once again that when you combine trusted household names with Sweeter’s expert end-to-end event production, you get a moment that stays with the consumer long after the last bite.
